Scott Barnes originally intended to become a fine arts painter but a chance suggestion by a photographer at a photoshoot spurred Barnes to consider the art of makeup. He is known for developing “The Glow” with Jennifer Lopez: a combination of dewy skin, bold eyes, and neutral lips in a monochromatic pallet, which allowed Lopez and his other clients to shine. His accomplishments are astounding. He’s worked with the entertainment industry’s biggest icons to contribute to 450 magazine covers, almost 300 music videos, and numerous films. He is also the author of two best-selling books and the creator of his own makeup line.
